I will cherish the wonderful friendship that Ruby and I had. She was an exceptional woman to know, and always seemed so thrilled to get a phone call.I know that she uplifted everyone around her with her easy attitude and immense capacity to love, and I am one of very many people who will miss her. I'll always remember her saying "Oh! Hi honey" with that lovely Louisiana lilt that she had....I will light a candle for her and the family tomorrow. Judith Lamb
