Mary Jo was born in Visalia, Ca. and was a long time resident of Stockton, Ca.

Mary Jo worked in the Restaurant Industry as an owner, waitress and lastly as a bartender. She was proud of her involvement in the service industry.

She enjoyed visiting with her friends, spending time with her family and dancing with her daughters. Fishing, reading, cooking and crocheting were her favorite things to do.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Lon and Edna Barnard 10 brothers and sisters and her loving husband Jim Mayse.

She is survived by her brother Gene Bernard, (Lavoy) and her four children, Bill Dunn(Denise), Rick Dunn (Cindy), Cindy Del Bagno (Joe), and Terry Herrington(Ron). She was a loving Grandmother of 8 and Great Grandmother of 4. Mary Jo had many friends in Florida, Los Angeles, Stockton, and the San Joaquin Delta. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Life will take place at Ron & Terry’s home, Saturday January 30, at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Hospice Organization or the American Cancer Society in her memory.
