Much love and hugs to the Amodeo Family!! It has been many years since we have seen each other but I was saddened to hear of Louis' passing. Many of my best memories revolve around Pine Castle Little League with Louis being one of them. I was always amazed at how he could call the local radio station and be the number one caller!! He told me one time how he managed to do that and I was so impressed by his tenacity! Many an hour was spent at the ball field during my childhood and I will always remember Louis and the Amodeo family.
Many blessings to you all,

Louie, Rest In Peace.

We were so saddened to hear about Louie. His perpetual enthusiasm and positive encouragement were the highlights of the PCLL years. I still smile when I remember Louie coaching the softball girls with his pockets full of brushes, makeup, jewelry, and all of the accessories that the girls couldn't be without. They would run up to him with some item for him to hold and he never missed a beat; just put it in his pocket and went right on coaching and encouraging. All of my children, sons and daughters, played baseball/softball at PCLL and went on to coach and/or umpire thanks to the wonderful sportsmanship, skills, and passion for the game instilled by the Amodeo family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Frank, Margaret, Dino, Debbie, Anthony, and the rest of the family.

WOW!!! I am so shocked & sadden to hear of his passing. I was looking the internet for another obituaries and came across his. The story could not tell it any better. I used to play softball for Mrs. A and Louie for many years and my parents became very good friends of them. My dad even ended up helping coaching. Over the years we have all drifted apart. Yet my plaques that Mrs. A made of our team photos are still on my wall. Louie was the one to always make you laugh when you were down and give you that extra encouragement when needed. I prays and thoughts are with the family & friends during this difficult time.

Louie Amodeo was an extraordinary person who gave his life to helping others and coaching kids. He was a guy who could always take positives away from a defeat and he never stopped encouraging his players. It was a privledge to play for Louie the memories I have of him will remain with me forever.

To the Amodeo family . . . Louie was a great coach and I have many fond memories of Louie teaching us the skills we needed to become great softball players. I have often thought of him and Mrs. "A" . Playing softball and having the Amodeo's as my coach's was the best time for me in softball. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To my brother and my friend. You have blessed so many. You have also brought a glow that burns bright in everyone's heart, to all who have met you. The way you gave of yourself and never asking, never wanting or needing anything in turn. Just welcoming everyone into your heart and enjoying in there success and in there happiness. These are characteristics we all wish to have and these characteristics you have. That is what makes you the man you are. Your memory will live in all our hearts forever. Thank you. Love you.
