JANE FAY WOLFE, 80 of 209 Willard Street, Hagerstown, Md. died on Friday, November 20, 2009 at Julia Manor Health Care Center. Born June 11, 1929 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Clara B. Hawthorne Beard. Jane enjoyed skating at Starland Skating Rink and loved animals, especially dogs. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Raymond "Pete" Wolfe, a daughter, Doreen Davis of Hagerstown; a son, Theodore "Ted" Stevens of Hagerstown and three granddaughters, Lori Stevens, Yvette Hofer, and Fallon Stevens, all of Hagerstown. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p. m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Washington County, 13011 Maugansville Road, Hagerstown, Md. 21740.
