I was a friend of Doug in the late 70s and early 80s. I always thought very highly of him and will remember his ability to keep a positive attitude no matter what the situation. I am sorry that I lost touch with him over the years and am more sorry to hear of his passing. The lives he touched, mine included, are better off having known him.

It was a privelage to know you guys and we are sorry we have not crossed paths in the last few years at a Van-in or two. Take care and remember , you have alot of friends out here.

Dear Peg, It's been many years but I haven't forgotten a one of you.My husband told me Sunday to look at the paper and I couldn't believe my eyes.It seems like yesterday Doug playing his guitar, telling Ronnie and I to be quite.I can't imagine the sorrow you feel losing another Son. Just take heart in knowing that Heaven will shine brighter with Doug, Bobby and of course Wayne all shining down on us. Love Cindy
