This was a time just before I met the man of my life and would marry. In Ft. Pierce, Fla. My two children, Joseph and Pattie and I were driving down orange ave. in Ft. Pierce Fla. when I was stopped at a red light and the most ungliest VW bus cross the street on Ave D. in front of me and I said to the kids. I don't know who drives that ungly VW bus, the bus was green with lions all over it and I said I never want to met that man or marry him. Well guess what, God had other plans. I married him and we had 22 of the most wonderful years together. My handsome and I had a love others were evny of. We were always together and never apart. I love you handsome and you will be in my heart always. Your Honey Patsy ... READ MORE →

When I was a teenager, Mom and Dave took all of us teens to the Haunted House in Port St. Lucie. Dave went in with us and we were led to a dark room. We heard all the chain saws cranking up, but did not see anyone. Then one man jumped out with a chain saw right next to Dave. Dave punched the guy in the face and knocked him down. After all said and done, Dave apologized to the man, warned the man not to jump so close to people, cause it will probably happen again. All of the kids thought is was funny because we were supposed to be scared, but it ended up the guy was the one who was scared. More to follow for some more stories.

Dave.... I pray all the time that you are well taken care of and that the Lord is comforting you while you are with him. We are having a hard time now that you are not here on earth with us.
Savannah always talks about you and asks where you are, while Hunter is holding it in, but says that he wish you were here to help him with projects.
Mom, is not doing well without you here, but she knows that you are in a better place.
One thing that you should know, is how you touched peoples lives while you were here. You always helped others without complaining. You just were who you were. No suprises and nothing fake. You were just Dave Ooley. I love that about you so much and I want to be like that. You really made me a better person and I want to make you proud of me.
I miss you being here and being my DAD!!!
Much love and hugs, Joe Rosbury

It is Sunday my love and no one realizes how hard it is to pick up and move on after loosing the one you have loved for so many years and shared everything together, my heart cry's for you every moment, I need you so with me love, my love we talked about this and I told you how hard it was going to be without you, I know love we kept fighting and going on like we would live forever and a strong fight we did love, you were so strong and God gave us so many blessings right up to the end, but you know what my love God had the last word, he said it was time to come home you were tired my love and even tho you tried to keep on fighting for me, you couldn't and I love you so for it my handsome. Handsome the Lord gave us everything we ask him for during your illness and during our life together, please tell him my love thank you for all his blessings at the foot of the cross, and some day when I get to see him I will get to tell him thank you also, I want to put my arms around him and hold him and sit at his feet, I am sure my love that is what you are doing, bathing in his love and mercy. Just love our Lord now Dave and someday I will see you both, say hi to my mom and all our love one's. Love you my Handsome Patsy

Handsome thinking of you so much yesterday and this morning and the tears are flowing because I miss you so, my heart breaks, because you are not here with me and I must now travel this road alone and you not beside me. We gave each other strength and love and we would say "our strength is in the Lord, he will be with us and he will carry us thru, nomatter what the trails of life we always faced thru our life together, we knew without a doubt The Lord would carry us thru it and The Lord always did. Our faith was so strong in God nothning could shake it and we knew that, our blessings from the Lord all thru the yrs Handsome was world wide, because we kept the faith, now I must find my strengh without you somehow, and put all in the Lord for him to carry me on thru the rest of my Life, but you will be with me in my heart and "I will hear you say "the Lord wil carry us". Thanks my love for all the yrs and all your love and my handsome I would do it all over again for you. You were my 'Star." so strong, yet so gentle. Love you Handsome, Your Turkey Patsy

Before Dave and I got married, just dating, he would surprise me by showing up
places and surprising me or me and the kids. This happen on Edwards road in Ft Pierce Fla. and kids and I were driving home one evening and up ahead we saw ayellow pickup truck pulled off to side of the road at an intersection of Ock. rd we wonder who it was and as we got closer we knew, the kids yelled it was Dave, and of course we pulled over and Dave said I will always be around, never far away and even on my jobs and at the time I was in insurance sales he was always there for me, he never let me go somwhere if he thought it wasn't safe or he would meet me on my route or he would show up at the house and surprise the kids and me to see if we needed anything. He was always there, just like all thur our life together he stood right beside me to the end and I with him. I told you my love I would be with you to theend and Iwas, this was who we were I love you handsome. Your Honey Patsy

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Ooley's death. He will definitely be missed but we can draw comfort in knowing that Jehovah God will be with us in our time of grieving. If we draw close to him, he will sustain us in what ever trials we face (Psalms 55:22,83:18;James 4:8).

It won't be the same when we come to GA for a visit. My heart goes out to Pat , Joe, Liz, Hunter, Savannah and the rest of the family.
