On behalf of the many children and families of Williams Magnet School, please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Mr. Myers was truly a gentle man and is sorely missed. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. My last memory of him is a happy one of a tanned Mr. Myers sharing a smile and a laugh over his Florida hot tub photos. May he rest in eternal peace.

DALE WAS A PERSON GOD BLESSED ME TO HAVE AS A GOOD FRIEND, GOD BLESS THE FAMILY.

Mr. Myers was so precious to me! We worked together at Williams Magnet School. He was my buddy. I worked most nights until he closed the building. He would tell me so kindly, "Mrs. Bowden, it's time to go home." Everyone loved Mr. Myers and we shared many laughs, stories, etc. together. When Betsy, my Aussie dog, was a puppy, my husband would bring her up to the school after hours ... Mr. Myers adored her and she was crazy about him. If she didn't see him right away she would go looking for him. Betsy and Mr. Myers would be all over each other. Besides being a wonderful person, I will always cherish those memories. He was always so appreciative of everything, helpful, thoughtful and friendly. I do know that he will still be with us, smiling on us with his wonderful smile. Mr. Myers, I will remember you always as my friend.
Sincerely,
Barbara Ann Bowden

It is impossible to capture a life in words, but Sandy Sarlo's statement best reflects my memories of Dale. Dale's essential core of kindness and pleasant personality which so many of us remember fondly is to me the best and ultimate tribute we can give. Farewell Dale!

I will never forget Dale for he was my Gentle Giant a sweet and kind natured man. I always look for his arrival to work each day at 10:20 A.M. so I could pester him and you know, he was ready to start the day with me :). There was many, many days of laughter being embraced until 5:30 it always ended with Dale watching me leave and saying "Go home Mrs.Smith don't go shopping", we depart with a see you tomorrow and smile. My prayers go out to Dale family you've lost a wonderful Son and Brother,I've lost a sweethearted friend but only for now. We shall meet Dale again. with all my Love as he would describe me. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Dale's family, he will surely be missed.
Our memories over the past decade and a half of Dale are many. He was "Uncle Dale" to my sons, in fact one is named after him. We shared trips on the Buffalo, including the infamous float to Rush, he always was a part of our annual Halloween Party (see photo), he had an uncanny way of winning games of UNO & BS, his volunteering to "babysit" our birds or help out at Spaghetti Dinner's, but he'll be missed most when we play "Hide & Seek" in our pool. His laughter filled the night air up in Little Italy as he tried to escape Judy's tag.
Our last memory of Dale will be of his winning BINGO at this years party, just 4 short weeks ago. Dale was always a winner, his life touched many. Tom thank you for bringing him into our lives and sharing him with us.
Dale we love and miss you.
