I only knew Abel for about 4 years while working together at Wal-Mart but he made a huge impact in my life. The love he showed for his wife and family was unlike none I have seen before. We always knew when Abel was around you would be smiling soon!! I had the pleasure of working with Abel and later working with Rudy his stepson. He wil be greatly missed. My prayers go out to the family.

Abel, you were a wonderful, compassionate person and brother-in-law. Thank you for being such a great husband to Henrietta and giving her so much joy; for being a loving step-father and fantastic Grandpa! I will never be able to make another cake without thinking of you and knowing that you are no longer here to have the "messed up cake". Ron and I love you and will miss you but know we will see you again. Thank you God for allowing us the past 18+ years with sweet Abel!
