Beverly E. Tando, 74, of Scipio, Indiana passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2009 at Jennings Healthcare Center in North Vernon, Indiana. Ms. Tando was born on August 25, 1935 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the daughter of Johnny and Margaret Johnson Tando. Ms. Tando was a homemaker who spent her life taking care of her family. Her hobbies included reading, cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, puzzles, playing cards and watching Garfield. Survivors include one son, Nathan (Sharon) Ramey of North Vernon, Indiana; three daughters, Dickiey (Dan) Ginger of Seymour, Indiana, Marla (Randy) Wasson and Stephenie Boles both of North Vernon, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Melodie Ramey of Southport, Indiana, Amanda (Chuck) Kuhfahl of Nineveh, Indiana, Christina Ramey of Columbus, Indiana, Nanette Ginger and John (Angela) Ginger both of Seymour, Indiana, Jolene (Chris) Michael, Sam (Jena) Lander and Marcus Oglesby all of North Vernon, Indiana; ten great-grandchildren, Kerith Ginger, Sydney Peacock, Gloria Acton, Selena Voss, Mikayla, Brendon, Carter and Katelynn Michael, Hensley Kuhfahl, Kailey Ginger, Shawn and Cameron Lander, Preston Oglesby, Katie Fish and Kenzie Pack. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Albert Tando and Mickey Mullens; a sister, Mary Colvin. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Jennings County, Indiana with the Rev. Bill Ramey officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon, Indiana. Family and Friends are welcomed at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2009 to the Queensville Community Church for a Memorial Service.
